What are the types of injection molding machines?
1. Vertical injection molding machine, as shown in the figure below, the axis of the injection molding device and the mold closing device of the vertical injection molding machine is in the same line, and perpendicular to the horizontal plane. The advantages of vertical injection molding machine covers an area of small, convenient mold disassembly. Shortcoming fuselage is relatively high, machine stability is poor, feeding is not convenient, usually rely on manual pick up, not easy to achieve full automatic operation. It is mainly used for small injection molding machines with relatively small injection volume
2. Horizontal injection molding machine, as shown in the picture below, the injection molding device of the horizontal injection molding machine coincides with the axis of the mold closing device, and is arranged horizontally. Advantages are low fuselage, good stability of the machine, easy operation and maintenance. Therefore, horizontal injection molding machine is widely used, large, medium and small are applicable, is the basic form of injection molding machine at home and abroad.
3. Angle injection molding machine, as shown in the following figure, the axis of injection molding device of Angle injection molding machine and the axis of mold closing device form an Angle of 90 degrees. Therefore, the advantages and disadvantages of Angle injection molding machine between vertical and horizontal injection molding machine, the use of more common. Especially suitable for molding center does not allow traces of plastic parts
4. Plunger injection molding machine, as shown below, the working principle is that the plastic is thoroughly heated, fused and plasticized through the screw first, and then the plunger shoots the melt into the mold. Its advantages are plasticizing, injection separately, the plunger and barrel with more precision, less melt leakage, the disadvantage is complex structure.
